Orti dei Berici’s onions are an Italian product grown in our soils in the countryside of Verona, near our manufacturing plant. From sowing in February up to the harvest in June, we make sure that the highest quality standards are respected (Global G.A.P.).

Treatment process

Treatment process

The onions, after being washed and peeled, are minced in order to produce a fine purée (adding salt, and vinegar if needed) which is used in canning industries to produce sauces, spreads, marinades, stuffing and sautéed vegetables. The semi-processed product is slightly thermo-treated, which ensures that it is long-lasting in both microbiological and qualitative terms.

Packaging

The products are packaged in aseptic bags with a capacity of 20/200 kg.

Preservation

The product is available all year round. It must be preserved inside refrigerating rooms at the temperature of 0/+4°C and it has a shelf life of 3 months from delivery.
